This vase is hand turned and carved in Northern Thailand from sustainable mango wood. The skill in turning these vases is shown in that the base has not been drilled through and plugged, instead the vase is hollowed out from one end so that it is capable to holding water without leakage. Each vase is then individually decorated with hand carving styles. The vase stands approximately 16" (40cm) tall.
