These figures are hand carved from sustainable teak in Northern Thailand and carefully depict the Hindu god Lord Ganesh (Ganesha, Ganapati, Vinayaka and Pillaiyar). Ganesh is widely followed by not just Hindus, but also Buddhists and Jains. Ganesh is known as the remover of obstacles, and therefore brings good luck. Each figure is approximately 12" high and can either stand on its own or hang from a wall.
