Wood Pestle and Mortar - Bok Bok (Pok Pok)

This traditional pestle and mortar, or as the Thais call it a Bok Bok (or Pok Pok), is the mainstay of the Thai kitchen.  The name bok bok comes from the sound made when bashing the ingredients into the paste required before cooking.  Our bok boks are all made from solid wood and come complete with both pestle and mortar.  The diameter of the mortar is approximately 8" and the height is also 8".  The pestle is approximately 10" long.
